Avon moving — new builds out west
Avon is one of the fastest-growing spots west of Cleveland, and most of what we move here is new construction: big two-story colonials and brick-front four-bedrooms in the developments off Detroit Road, Chester, and Nagel, plus the patio homes and townhomes near the I-90 interchange. These are large, open-plan houses with three-car garages and basements people finish right away. The access is easy; the volume is the job. We size the crew accordingly.
New colonials and open floor plans
An Avon new-build typically means tall ceilings, an open great room with oversized sectionals, a kitchen full of new everything, and a basement already finished into a rec room or theater. We bring a crew and a truck matched to the square footage so it clears in a day, and we mind the fresh paint and the new hardwood — runners down, corners padded — because the last thing you want is a scuff in a house you just bought.
Garages, builders’ lots, and quick western hops
The three-car garages out here fill up fast with the second fridge, the tools, the bikes, and the lawn gear, and we load all of it. On a brand-new street the builder may still have lots active, so we plan the truck approach around construction traffic. Quick moves over to Avon Lake, North Ridgeville, or Sheffield we do in a single trip, and we are minutes from I-90 for the longer hauls.
One fair flat rate on the new place
A big new house is exactly where a lowball phone quote falls apart once a mover counts the rooms and the garage. We count it all up front — great room, basement, garage — and Sharon writes one flat rate. The figure you are quoted is the figure you pay on move day.
