Mentor moving, out in Lake County
Mentor is the far east end of our map, out in Lake County off I-90 past the Cuyahoga line, and we cover it like our own backyard. The housing is suburban and varied: postwar ranches and capes on the older streets, bigger colonials in the developments off Mentor Avenue and Hopkins, lakeshore homes up toward Mentor-on-the-Lake, and condos near the Great Lakes Mall. A lot of folks here commute the long haul into Cleveland or the Clinic, so we schedule around real lives.
Ranches, colonials, and lakeshore homes
The older Mentor ranches and capes are clean single-level or low-stair moves with the usual full basement and garage. The newer colonials run bigger. And the lakeshore homes up north come with their own quirks — sandy, sloping lots, walk-out levels facing the water, and the occasional long private drive. Our crew reads the access first and brings the truck to the right spot rather than guessing.
The Lake County distance and the commute
Being out past the county line, Mentor is a real drive from the West Side, but we are an Ohio-licensed mover covering all of Northeast Ohio, so it is no stretch for us. We stage the truck off I-90, work weekends for the commuters, and handle the moves both ways — into Mentor from the city, or out of Mentor when a family is heading down to Columbus or south for the winter. Heated storage covers any gap in between.
One fair flat rate, distance and all
The Lake County distance is exactly the kind of thing a sloppy mover tacks on at the end. We do not. The drive, the access, and the load are all in the one flat rate Sharon writes before move day, and that is the figure you pay — lake-effect snow off Erie included.
