Sometimes you do not need a full move — you have the rental truck, the pod, or the container, but you do not have the muscle or the know-how to load it so nothing shifts and breaks on the road. That is where our load-help crew comes in. We bring the same W-2 movers and the same packing-and-loading skill to your rental that we bring to a full McClain move, by the hour, careful and fast.
This is labor-only, so the rate is straightforward — a fair hourly rate, quoted up front — and you only pay for the hands and the time.
Loading That Travels Well
A truck loaded wrong is a truck full of damage on the far end. Our crew loads tight and balanced — heavy pieces on the bottom and against the walls, furniture pad-wrapped and strapped to the rails, boxes tiered so nothing crushes the layer below. Whether you are driving it to Columbus, down I-77 to Florida, or just across town to Parma, it gets there the way it left.
Unloading and the Cleveland Basement
On the other end, we will meet your truck or pod and carry everything in — up the Lakewood double stairs, down into the Cleveland basement, wherever it goes. A lot of folks load themselves and just want help with the heavy stuff at the new place, and that is a job we are glad to take by the hour.
