Rocky River moving — and yes, it is where Russ lives
Rocky River is home base for our owner, so this is one neighborhood we know cold. The housing runs from the older lake-side colonials and Tudors up near Lake Road and the metro park, to the mid-century ranches off Wooster and Detroit, to the newer condos and townhomes near Crocker Park. Plenty of families here are moving up, downsizing, or heading south for the winter, and we crew each one to fit the house — never a one-size truck.
Lake-side colonials and ravine lots
The homes near the lake and the Rocky River reservation sit on wooded, sloping lots, some with long drives, retaining walls, and a walk-out lower level toward the ravine. Our crew reads the grade and the access first. We protect the hardwood, pad the original trim in the older Tudors, and work the walk-out and the deck stairs where the driveway does not reach the back of the house.
Condos, Crocker Park, and the snowbird run
Over near Crocker Park and the Detroit Road condos we handle the elevator buildings, the Certificate of Insurance the management office wants, and the loading-dock timing. And because this is a town full of folks with a place in Florida, we run a lot of snowbird moves out of here every fall — packed, loaded, and either delivered south or held in our heated storage until the new place is ready. We hold the written figure on those long hauls.
One fair flat rate, neighbor to neighbor
Russ lives here, so the last thing we are going to do is lowball a Rocky River neighbor and surprise them on move day. Sharon writes one flat rate covering the ravine access, the lake-side stairs, or the long Florida haul, and that is what you pay. Honest is the only way that works in your own town.
